예열은 디젤이 점화플러그에 의한 점화 폭발이 아닌연료의 압축으로 인한 압축 폭발이기 때문에 필요한 장치 입니다.
여름엔 날씨가 춥지 않아서 상관없이 폭발이 잘 되죠
하지만 겨울에 연료가 차가워진 상태에서 폭발이 이루어 지지 않기 때문에 엔진에 예열을 해주어 쉽게 시동이 걸리게 해주는 장치 입니다.
물론 자꾸 시동 걸면 걸리긴 하죠........하지만 불완전 연소로 엔진에 무리가 생길 수 있으니 예열등이 꺼지면 시동을 걸게 합니다.
